Far beyond Flint - Astrology & today's water challenges

This crazy election year will come and go, but the great human need for abundant, clean water will not...you're welcome to join the discussion!

Pleased and honored to share…

As you may have noticed from selected blog posts on this site, one of my key areas of interest as a mundane astrologer is in applying the techniques of the trade to the environment—including (but definitely not limited to) water-related challenges. I’m therefore very pleased and honored to share with you the following link to an article I’ve written that addresses these very challenges.

The article is entitled “Enough For All Our Needs: The Astrology of Today’s Water Crisis,” and is available in The Mountain Astrologer, April/May 2016 online issue, at http://digital.mountain-astrologer.com.s3.amazonaws.com/416-pdfs/416TMArobertson.pdf

Also - If you've been following the recent story regarding California's Porter Ranch methane leak (which is also producing a water quality problem), don't miss an important article in that same issue of Mountain Astrologer, entitled "California, Climate & the Methane Leak" - written by editor Tem Tarriktar, David Kesten and Ema Kurent. See http://digital.mountain-astrologer.com.s3.amazonaws.com/

As always, any thoughts or comments are appreciated and welcome! I welcome you also to review the links provided below, which include a few recent water-quality stories in the news (reminding us that Flint is not the only hot spot when it comes to water issues) and further below, links to a number of international organizations that concern themselves with the global crises affecting water availability, water quality and sustainability. This crazy election year will come and go, but the great human need for abundant, clean water will not – lots more to talk about down the road!
